Discover Scuba Diving

What is a Discover Scuba Diving?

You will learn:

  • Duration : 1/2 + 1 day
  • Parts :
    • Explanation of the basic principles of scuba diving
    • Overview of the equipment (provided)
    • Swimming pool or confined water: practice of the basic techniques of scuba diving.
    • 2 dives at maximum 12 m.
    • Maximum 2 students per instructor

The exercises that you will practice during the Discover Scuba Diving will be credited to your Scuba Diver or Open Water course.

If you then decide to become a diver, you will be able to continue your training with the Scuba Diver or Open Water courses.


Scuba diver

The Scuba Diver course is for those who want to become a diver but do not have much free time during your holidays .

  • Duration : 2 to 3 days
  • Parts of the course :
    • Theory: 3 modules
    • Swimming pool exercises
    • Dives at sea : 2
  • Entitles you to dive under the supervision of a Divemaster at maximum 12m.
  • Is the first part of the course Open Water Diver, that you’ll then be able to finish in another 2 days training.
  • Teaches you the basic techniques of scuba diving and explains the equipment in order to dive respecting all safety measures.
  • Ideal for those who wish to start scuba diving but only have a short time to allocate.
  • The theory can be learned before through E-learning or by studying the manual. 
  • The knowledge revision questionnaire finishes up the course.  The PADI Scuba Diver certification will be delivered.

Open Water Diver

Do you want to become a diver or are you already PADI Scuba Diver? The PADI Open Water Diver course is something for you! !

  • Duration: 2 days after a Scuba Diver Course – 3 days in E-learning – 4 to 5 days for the entire course.
  • Parts of the course :
    • Theory: 5 chapters
    • Swimming pool sessions: 5
    • Open Water dives: 4
  • Allows you to dive at a maximum depth of 18m
  • Teaches you the basic techniques of scuba diving and explains the equipment in order to dive respecting all safety measures
  • The logical step after a PADI Scuba Diver certification
  • Can be completed in 3, 4 or 5 days
  • The theory can be learned before through E-learning or by studying the manual.
  • The knowledge revision questionnaire finishes up the course.  The PADI Open Water Diver certification will be delivered.

Referral Course

  • Duration : 2 days, 4 dives at sea
  • Parts of the course : 4 dives in open water
  • You have already studied the theory, succeeded at the knowledge revision questionnaire and accomplished the dives in confined water? You are only 4 open water dives away from your certification, which you can do in the crystal clear turquoise water of the Red Sea.
  • Ask your instructor or dive centre where you started your course to give you the « Referral document ».  You will need it to validate your certification.
